Ashley (Webster) Webster - Graduate Student

I recently completed my Master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati, where I studied the evolutionary dynamics of host-parasite interactions, specifically focusing on the genetic and environmental factors that influence resistance. In the fall of 2024, I joined the Clayton-Bush Lab as a PhD student to further explore my interest in host-parasite systems. My current interest revolves around investigating how the physiological traits of birds influence specific anti-parasite behaviors, particularly grooming. In my free time, I enjoy reading contemporary fiction and taking long walks through art museums.
